I am interested in knowing more about Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Alibaug. I have seen a few images of the resort, and it looks perfect.

I want to know if there are any packages available for the resort, which would include usage of the spa as well?

I would prefer to stay in a villa, but am very much doubting if there is a villa facility for Radisson Blu if there is, please provide details including cost.

What rooms provide a good view?

Is there a good choice of food for the in-house restaurant?

I know the resort is quite close to the beach, exactly how far is it, and which beach should we visit?

Hello, @Ruhani! Welcome to the forum!

The Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Alibaug is probably best known for their hospitality to guests. But beyond that, it's a luxury resort that has everything you might ever need in a resort. From Mumbai, the resort is about 90 kms away. It is also just a few minutes of driving from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM). All the city attractions are accessible too, like the Kulaba Fort, which is about 4 kms only from the resort.

The resort has a spa, library and different swimming pools. They have about 156 accommodation options, ranging from rooms, suites and villas. They also have two restaurants and three bars. For companies or offices, the resort has a conference hall which is over 5,000 square feet. For the health enthusiasts, there's also a fitness centre right at the resort.

As of now, there are no packages with spa usage that are available in the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Alibaug. You can book their Deluxe Spa Villa or their Executive Spa Villa which are both within walking distance to the spa, if you'd like.

There are different villa types in the resort:

    1. Deluxe Spa Villa - This villa is located adjacent to the spa. For relaxation, you can enjoy the view from your own private garden. The villa also boasts of House Tulsi stand construction.
    • Amenities - Wardrobe cabinet, king-sized bed, spacious bathroom with shower and private garden with seating.
    • Rate - Rs. 11,500 per night, inclusive of buffet breakfast and WiFi.
    2. Executive Spa Villa - This is also just steps away from the spa. It has a private garden and a living room area with a fountain.
    • Amenities - Wardrobe cabinet, king-sized bed, House Tulsi stand, living room with fountain, spacious bathroom with shower and private garden with seating.
    • Rate - Rs. 12,500 per night, inclusive of buffet breakfast and WiFi.
    3. Lake View Villa - This villa has two floors. The first floor has the living room and bathroom. The second floor has the dining area, bedroom and master's bedroom. From you private garden, you can view the Veshvi Lake.
    • Amenities - Wardrobe cabinet, king-sized bed, living room, spacious bathrooms (one in first floor and one in master's bedroom) with shower and private garden with seating.
    • Rate - Rs. 14,000 per night, inclusive of buffet breakfast and WiFi.

Almost all rooms have great views from the private balconies. I'd recommend the Lake View Villa mentioned above as it is the only room with a view of the Veshvi Lake. Aside from that, you can also choose these other rooms:

    1. Superior Room - You can view the water works and pools of the hotel from this room. It also has a private balcony for enjoying the views while sipping tea or reading the newspaper.
    • Amenities - Wardrobe cabinet, king-sized bed/twin-sized bed, seating area, spacious bathroom with shower and private garden with seating.
    • Rate - Rs. 9,500 per night.
    2. Executive Suite - It has a balcony providing a view of the city. The suite also has a living room area with its own television.
    • Amenities - Wardrobe cabinet, king-sized bed, living room, spacious bathroom with shower and private garden with seating.
    • Rate - Rs. 10,200 per night.
    3. Presidential Suite - From your private terrace, you can view the Sahyadri Mountains. The Presidential Suite is located on the top floor, which makes for a panoramic view of the entire mountain ranges.
    • Amenities - Walk-in wardrobe cabinet, king-sized bed, living room, spacious bathroom with private jacuzzi and private garden with seating.
    • Rate - Rs. 27,000 per night.
    The resort has two restaurants:
    • Aparanta - This is open the whole day, for 24 hours. It has Indian, Oriental, Mediterranean and Continental cuisines. There's a variety of meals here like salads and grilled dishes. Their most famous dishes are the following: burnt lemon tart with ice cream, grilled scampi, mushroom and garlic soup and New Zealand rack of lamb.
    • Kokum and Spice - This is only open during the evening, from 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm. It has different cuisines: Raigad, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Goa, Karwar and Mangalore. Their most popular dishes are the following: Goan curry, Malawi kombdi masala and sole kadi. They also have a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
You can also opt for in-room dining. For that, they offer Indian, Oriental, Mediterranean and Continental cuisines. Their most favourite dishes are the following: home-style chicken curry, king prawns in ginger pepper sauce and fillet mignon. Aside from that, they have an assortment of wines and other beverages for guests.

Here are some of the beaches and their distances to the resort:
    • Varsoli Beach - This is about 4 kms from the resort.
    • Alibag Beach - This is about 4 kms from the resort.
    • Akshi Beach - This is about 8 kms from the resort.
    • Nagaon Beach - This is about 9.3 kms from the resort.
    • Awas Beach - This is about 15.7 kms from the resort.
    • Mandwa Beach - This is about 26 kms from the resort.
You can visit the closest ones, Varsoli Beach and Alibag Beach. They are both commercialised though and a bit crowded. However, they aren't as clean because of the crowds of tourists visiting them.

If you'd like a less crowded and cleaner beach, you have to drive further. Mandwa Beach is the furthest but it offers nice view of the Mumbai coastline and it's relatively clean. Awas Beach is another great option, but it's also a bit further.

For water sports, you can try out Nagaon Beach and Akshi Beach.

    I hope this helps.

    :)
