Sir Ganga Ram hospital New Delhi

I would like to get some information about the Sir Ganga Ram hospital in New Delhi and find out if there is a department of neurology there.

The hospital is very reputed and has good doctors which is why I would like to take my sister there for treatment.

Overview

The Sir Ganga Ram Hospital was established in the middle of the 19th century in Delhi. However, the original Sir Ganga Ram Hospital can be found in Lahore in Pakistan and was established in the early 19th century by Sir Ganga Ram Agrawal, a Hindu engineer who served the British government. Though the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital is Delhi was not built by Sir Ganga Ram, it was founded in honour of his memory. This hospital is a multi-specialty one, serving various patients with different conditions. There are different departments that can cater to the needs of the patients, each department having their own specific consultants and practitioners. Though the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital is a private health venture, they do provide free outpatient services for a few hours every day, which we would discuss below.

He is the head neurologist of the Neurology Department of the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. Dr. Sethi has also published many studies and research papers related to the field of medicine, specifically neurology. He had also taught students here and abroad, proving of his excellence in the field of neurology. With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Sethi is not just an expert in the field, he is truly qualified to be the head of the department. He was even awarded the Padma Shree, one of the highest civilian awards given by the Government of India to individuals who excelled in their fields.
