Hey guys, my parents have decided to go on a trip to our neighbouring country of Bangladesh for a tour. The question they are a bit troubled by is the matter of visa. Do Indian citizens need a passport /visa to enter Bangladesh? Or is it like Nepal, where the proof of your identity as an Indian citizen is enough to get you an entry into the country?
Indian nationals are required to have a visa prior to arrival in Bangladesh but there is no visa charges. There are two visa application forms that you would need to fill along with two passport sized photographs and submit after filling. Visa application forms can be downloaded from Bangladesh high commission website and can be submitted in Kolkata.
