I am considering booking the Vivanta by Taj Fort in Aguada Goa and have a few questions before I finalise any plans with my family about the stay. Traveling to Goa would be my wife my 3-year son and possibly my parents if I manage to convince them to go.

- I would first like to know what options there are for rooms at the hotel and whether they have any huts or villa types?

- Is there babysitting service available at the hotel?

- Is there some package from the hotel which would include room booking, and one meal or meals?

- Is there a bar by the pool?

Vivanta by Taj Fort Aguada is located in the northern part of Goa. Luxury at its finest, that is what the five-star resort promises to guests, with modern facilities along with warm hospitality. It's no wonder it's one of the top-rated hotels in the whole state. It has stunning views of both the Arabian sea and the 16th century Fort Aguada, whether you're in your room or you're basking in the infinity pool. Everything here is within your reach too, the fort, the Sinquerim beach or maybe the commercial hubs of Goa. However, the resort does provide everything you might ever need, from dining, to activities and to relaxation. It's the perfect place to unwind and just relax, no need for even leaving the resort itself.

What are the different types of rooms in the Vivanta by Taj Fort Aguada?

The resort has two types of accommodation options, namely: rooms and villas/cottages. Rooms either have a garden view or a sea view. You can also choose from a king bed or twin beds for the room. Here are some more details about the different types of rooms:

• Superior Charm (Garden View) - This is the most affordable room type in the resort. It doesn't disappoint on comfort and elegance though. It has features like cane furnitures, along with all modern amenities like a DVD player and television. A mini bar is also there for the guest's snacking needs. The bathroom is spacious too, with a simple shower and toilet. The main draw here is the garden balcony where you can sip a cup of tea while enjoying the views.

• Deluxe Delight (Sea View) - Enjoy the sea view with this charming room. All amenities mentioned above also come with this room. In addition, WiFi access is also complimentary when you book this room. Located in the lobby level, you can easily access the reception area when you stay in this room.

• Deluxe Delight (Sea View & Balcony) - Perhaps this is the most luxurious simple room option, with your own balcony overlooking the sea, you might be tempted to stay in your room all day long. Regardless, other amenities like a mini bar, DVD player and television add to the wonderful experience. Again, internet access is also complimentary when you choose to stay in this room.

There's also in-room dining facilities so you can be comfortable while eating in your room. The bathroom has glass panels too, but they can be covered as well if you'd like some privacy. On the other hand, basic amenities like DVD player, television, mini bar and many more are not missing in the room too.

• Premium Indulgence Cottage (Sea View) - While enjoying the views of the sea, you can relish in the space of your cottage. Aside from in-room dining, there's a separate powder room too, which females would surely appreciate. The bathroom is very modern and fitted with bathing essentials. • Premium Temptation Villa (Garden View) - This is a standalone villa, with its own bedroom and living room. It's the perfect choice for families as the space is enough for children. • Premium Temptation Villa (Two-Bedroom) - For bigger families, there's the Premium Temptation Villa which has two rooms. It has the same features though as the other villas mentioned above.

• Premium Temptation Villa (Three-Bedroom) - One of the most spacious villas which has three bedrooms, along with a living room, dining area and kitchenette too. The villa also has its private lawn and garden parasols to keep you comfortable.

• Luxury Bliss Villa (Two-Bedroom) - Much like the other villas, this villa has a private garden along with the mentioned amenities above. The only difference is that this villa is located in a hillock so it offers the best views of the Arabian sea from it.

What are the restaurants available in the Vivanta by Taj Fort Aguada?

There are five in-house restaurants in the resort. All offer exquisite dining and meal options to guests. Whether you're into Indian cuisine or maybe international cuisines, you can take your pick.

• Latitude - This is their all-day, multi cuisine restaurant. Featuring modern interiors along with a deck with a view of the infinity pool on one side, dining here is an experience like no other. The buffet spread here is quite extensive too, perfect for a lavish breakfast or dinner. The live music in the background adds to the wonderful dining experience. The restaurant is open from 7:30 to 23:30 daily.

• Morisco - Craving for authentic Goan cuisine? There's Morisco, which offers delicious seafood dishes, trademark of Goa itself. The restaurant also overlooks the beautiful Arabian sea. Don't worry as only the freshest seafood dishes would be served to you in Morisco. The restaurant is open daily from 19:30 to 22:30.

Most of the rates already include one free breakfast already plus internet access. But the higher end villas only has internet access and no free meals.
