Voter ID card for Spiti visit

    I am going to Spiti for a 5 day holiday and you need a voter card for your ID at the check posts, but I do not have this. Can I just make do with my PAN card or driving license.
    Kindly reply my query.

    Any government issued card with a photo will be fine at the check posts.

    A passport is the best option for ID, it can not be denied anywhere.

    This is news to me, why is ID required to go to Spiti? Are there any other areas in HP where you require ID?

    They don't even check for ID when going to Jammu, why do they check ID when going Spiti?
