I need to get some pure sandalwood and Bangalore is supposed to be the best place to get it from apparently. As I am in the Bangalore, I would like to get some sandalwood and need to know where to purchase it from. I need a significant amount of it, and I need it to be pure. Please let me know where to buy sandalwood in Bangalore?
Export of pure sandalwood is banned. A small quantity in small pieces that is used for rituals could perhaps be allowed and this you can get at the Khadi shop on M,G. Road, Bangalore. The name of the shop is Cauvery Handicrafts Emporium.
You can also get it from Cauvery Handicrafts and they sell pure sandalwood. It is quite costly something along the lines of Rs2500 for 100 grams.
