Where was this picture taken?

I have seen a beautiful picture which I got from Google and I am trying my luck and posting it on the forum to see if anyone can tell me where the location in the picture is. The view of the picture is amazing and I would love to sit and take some photos and simply look at the surroundings.

 

This looks like somewhere in Himachal Pradesh, seen a very similar picture but I can not recall where exactly it is?

 

To me, it looks like the farm/place in DDLJ song
"Tujhe Dekha to Ye jana Sanam
Pyar Hota hai deewana Sanam
ab yaha se kaha jai hum
Teri Bahano me Mar jaye hum"

 

Yeh it does BadBoy, minus the hills in the background.

 

This looks like Kangra in Himachal Pradesh.

 

This is a beautiful place and looks like somewhere in Kashmir or Srinagar.

 

No definite answers then, I so wanted to visit this beautiful place! I do suppose it is a bit confusing as there are so many places which look similar to this the one in the picture.

 

This is defiantly Kangra, I remember seeing very similar pictures for a family member of mine who went to Kangra some time back.
