My partner and I can not decide which destination to visit for our holiday India or Nepal. We have looked at both of the countries and they both are worth visiting but can only go to one. We would like some advice on which is better Nepal or India for our holiday? Please also provide information on when the best time to visit each of the countries is?
India has a wider choice with beaches, wild life, eateries, mountains, waterfalls, temples and last but not the least historical sights. Nepal will be ideal for those who would be interested in mountain climbing. There will be the prospect of viewing the Himalayas for which flight arrangements are made If you are interested in visiting temples Nepal as some great sights in this category. Finally it all depends on what your interests are. Once that is known we could help you with chalking out your itinerary.
If you choose to make a short trip(5days), Nepal would be a great choice since its a small country and you would be able to cover most of the places on your list in Nepal. On the other hand, If you plan to visit India, I would say you should have minimum of 20 days to explore the beauty of this country. There is no particular season to visit this country. India has a lot of things to offer and you to accept those things, you cannot be on a busy and tight tour schedule. If you do so, you will not enjoy and most of your time will be spent packing and travelling. So now you may decide about Nepal or India based on this.
