I will soon be visiting India, and it has not been decided yet whether we would do the Golden Triangle tour. I would like to know from members who have been on the Golden Triangle tour of what kind of packages are available and whether we can book the tour last minute or not?

Instead of spending one day at each destination I actually wish to spend 3 days at each place, is this something which is possible in the packages provided?

Hi there, welcome to the forum!

    Overview

For travellers to India, the Golden Triangle Tour is an important circuit when it comes to heritage sites. It goes through three of the most historically significant cities in the country, namely: Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. By doing this tour, you would be exposed to the important architectural masterpieces during the Mughal and Rajput eras. The three cities form a triangle, when traced into a map, hence the name. It is considered as the Golden Triangle because of the golden knowledge and heritage you would learn as soon as you trace the histories of these cities. Fortunately, there are many tour companies providing travellers with packages to further ease their worries about doing the Golden Triangle Tour.
