How to call Dubai from India

    My daughter has gone to Dubai for a couple of months regarding some work. She has given em the number to call her, but I don't know what to dial for the code.

    It is why I have joined the forum to get some help in finding out how to call Dubai from India?

Once you have these codes, you're ready to place an international call.

    • Exit Code (00) - The first code is called the Exit Code, this is usually the first code whenever you place a call outside of your country. All countries have exit codes and for India, the exit code is 00. This number lets you dial a number outside of your home country.
    • Country Code (971) - This is the second code known as the Country Code and again, every country has this code. For the United Arab Emirates, the country code is 971. You need this number to dial into a country of your choice.
    • Area Code (4) - Last but not the least is the Area Code, which in this specific case is 4, for Dubai. The specific area codes differ depending on which city you are dialling. You can always check online for this code as well as the other codes you need.
    How to Call Dubai from India

    Now that we have highlighted the different parts of the necessary format for dialling a Dubai number from India, we can go to the main part, that is, how to call Dubai from India. It's very simple, you just input all the codes above plus the phone number given to you. So for instance:
    • 00 + 971 + 4 + 1234567 = 0097141234567
    That's about it, you just input all the numbers and directly dial the output from your phone. Keep in mind that the plus signs are just there for information purposes, you don't need to put them when actually dialling the number from your phone.
