My daughter has gone to Dubai for a couple of months regarding some work. She has given em the number to call her, but I don't know what to dial for the code.

It is why I have joined the forum to get some help in finding out how to call Dubai from India?

Generally, for dialling numbers outside of the Indian territory, you would need three codes. These are the following: your country's exit code, country code of the number you're dialling and last, area code of the specific city you're dialling. Once you have these codes, you're ready to place an international call.

    • Country Code (971) - This is the second code known as the Country Code and again, every country has this code. For the United Arab Emirates, the country code is 971. You need this number to dial into a country of your choice.
    • Area Code (4) - Last but not the least is the Area Code, which in this specific case is 4, for Dubai. The specific area codes differ depending on which city you are dialling. You can always check online for this code as well as the other codes you need.
