My friend and I are both going Goa for a holiday. We will be spend sightseeing during the day, and also doing some water sports. At night we would like to be out partying, and we want to know about the nightlife in Goa for singles.

I would first like to know which places you would recommend for singles in Goa for nightlife?

The place should be safe for us, which is the primary concern and a bit decent.

Is it easy getting public transport at night in Goa, when we want to get back home?

    Overview

Known as the party capital of India, Goa, the smallest state, packs a punch when it comes to night life. With the number of bars and night clubs in the state, you have many options for partying and enjoying music. While single females won't have an issue with getting into bars and night clubs for the least entrance fee, stags, or males either alone or in a group of all men, are restricted entry or they need to pay a huge amount for an entrance fee. Couples also have to pay entrance although it is slightly cheaper than the entrance for males. Thus, if you're a female and want to party in Goa, you don't have much issues when it comes to safety because the crowd is of the posher ones. In this guide, we would highlight some of the best night clubs in Goa that single people can enjoy.

Night Life in Goa for Singles

    1. Love Passion Karma or LPK - This club is located next to a river, giving it a stunning look during night time. The exteriors are equally beautiful, boasting of a rock carving design. The outdoor open-air dance floor is happening and is the preferred section of most party lovers. For those who hate sweating, there's an indoor area with air-conditioning that you can opt to dance in. For all females, entry here is free so you save some money while partying. However, for stags, entry fee is at Rs. 3,000 and for couples, entry fee is at Rs. 1,500. The dance floors are huge and can accommodate a huge crowd, which is good for people who love dancing. The music played here are mostly house, trance and Bollywood. The bar menu is extensive and although the entrance fees cover some beverages, they are usually the ordinary ones. So if you would like to try out the premium drinks, they would be for higher costs. Reaching the place can be a bit daunting, since it is located off the main road, but generally, it's safe. Just hire a cab to take you to the club and make sure you know his number so he can pick you up as well after you're done partying.

    2. Club Cubana - Located off a hillock in Anjuna, Club Cubana is not only happening, it also provides one with a great view of the city. To reach the place, you need to ride a taxi up to the foothills and from there, a jeep, owned by the management, can take you to the club itself. The club itself has different levels, but the three main ones are the open pool area with a bar and barbecue, the indoor dance floor and the private VIP area. For females, the entry fee is at Rs. 700 with some drinks on the house. For stags, entry fee is at Rs. 2,000 and for couples, entry fee is at Rs. 1,500. If you love hip hop and electronic music, this club most plays those kinds of music. Further, for females, just reach the club during Wednesday to gain free entrance as this is the Ladies Night. Ambience is very simple with just wooden chairs and tables, and a simple stage where bands perform. Food served is on the Continental cuisine which is also lip-smackingly good. All guests have to pay an entry fee of Rs. 600 which is very affordable as compared to other night clubs. With the live performers doing all kinds of stunts and antics, your night won't be boring and would certainly be memorable. Conclusion

For the single ladies who want to enjoy the night life in Goa, you don't have to worry. Most night clubs and bars allow entry of women for free or for a nominal fee. The crowd is very much safe too, owing to the higher prices for entrance given to stags. Security is often high at these places too. One downside is that not too many public transportation vehicles can be found at night. For that, you can rely on taxis and make sure that you have someone with you especially if going home at the wee hours of the night.
