I would like to know what options I have for a bus from Pune to Bangalore?

I would like to know the timings and where the bus departs from in Pune. I have no fixed dates of travel and it would more likely be a sudden plan to leave for Bangalore. So it is important for me to get a bus where I can get a ticket on arrival.

Hello, @Kanika, welcome to the forum!

    Overview

Pune is one of the largest cities of Maharashtra while Bangalore is the capital of Karnataka. The distance between these two cities is about 841 kilometres. For those driving this distance, it can take around 12 to 13 hours to cover by car or by taxi. For those relying on public transportation, journey duration can be longer. There are many buses plying through this route, for those who prefer travelling via bus instead of train. You can choose between two types of buses mainly which are government-operated ones and private-operated ones. Most of the buses are air-conditioned ones since the journey is quite long, but there are also a few non air-conditioned buses running through this route. While you can book these buses online, you can also directly ride a bus from the different bus stands they originate from.
