I have been Goa many times and always been to a particular place of Goa which is the North part, now I want a change and thinking of visiting Carmona and Zalor area and the beaches. I would like to get some information on these areas, the beaches and the restaurants around them.

The location is very quiet and there are a few beach shacks there, as well as resorts with swimming pools.
Regarding restaurants there is Varca Palms or La Palms which is close to the beach, another popular restaurant is Tibchies which serves Tibetan and Chinese cuisines.
Cavalossim is a great place to visit and rated very highly by tourists who go to South Goa.

Carmona is a village in the Salcette District of South Goa. The beach in Carmona is called the Zalor Beach or sometimes, the Carmona Zalor Beach. It is just nearby the beaches of Varca and Cavelossim. The water of Carmona Beach is very safe for swimming. You can also enjoy some water sports in here. The sands of the shores are quite powdery and the water here is very clean and bluish in colour.

Carmona Beach is a beautiful beach and they certain make it easy to get to. However, I went during the height of the tourist season and there were some fairly sketchy Europeans who were practically taking over the beach and smoking marijuana at all hours. It gave me a headache. Results may vary. I've asked other people about that beach and none of them had that experience.
