Funcity Chandigarh Entry Fees

I am from Ambala and the nearest and good amusement park to take my kids to is in Chandigarh which is Funcity.
As the drive will be about 2 hours I want to confirm the Funcity entry fees, and know what is included in the entry fees. I know that there are rides there but I would also like to know if Funcity has a water park as well.

Funcity is located on the outskirts of Chandigarh, about 22 kilometres away from its city centre. It is a short distance from Ramgarh, specifically located in the Chandigarh Nada Sahib Gurudwara Barwala Road. The nearest landmark is the Ballistics Vidyalaya, which is just two kilometres away from the theme park. The nearest railway station is the Ghaggar Railway Station, which is around eight kilometres away from the theme park. There are direct trains from the Ambala Cantonment Railway Station to this station. The nearest bus stop is the Ramgarh Bus Stop, about 20 minutes of walking away from Funcity. There are local buses (Bus No. 32 from ISBT 17) from Chandigarh to this bus stop.

What is the Overall Vibe of Funcity in Chandigarh?

Right from the entrance, the artificial rock edifice gateway would greet you. Funcity is spread across 43 acres of lush greenery, comprised of trees, well-landscaped lawns and shrubs that provides for a breath of fresh air for the guests. The Amusement Park can be divided into two sections, namely: Kids Rides and Family Rides. The Kids Rides are for the little children only, comprised of four rides that are sure to be enjoyed by the little ones. First is the Toto Train, which is a train with duck seats set upon a lush garden. The Thummak Thummak is a caterpillar round and round ride that would make the little ones dizzy with fun. What's a theme park without a Merry-Go-Round? Let the kids take their pick of ride, from the gallant horses of various colours. The Fun Spin is the mini version of a ferris wheel that won't be as high but would surely be loads of fun for kids.

For the Family Rides section, this is comprised of rides that the whole family can enjoy. You'd be dazzled by the Razzle Dazzle, a round and round attraction that would make all members of the family giggling. Paddle Fun is set amidst a lake wherein the guests have to pedal to get across it. The Gyroscope also involves pedalling, but this time amidst a higher location, with a wonderful view of the surrounding greenery. Of course, there are also the usual rides like the Fun on Wheels (Toy Train), Froggy Fun (Drop Ride), Dream Boat (Pirate Ship) and Crazy Cars (Bumper Car Ride). You also can't miss the Big Apple, a caterpillar coaster ride for adults and teens, and the Fun Flight, a variation of the ferris wheel that instead spins you in various angles instead of just one side.

There are some more attractions in the Amusement Park. You can try your strength at the Crazy Bull or maybe win some games at the Arcades. The 5D Theatre is another must-try attraction, where you can watch a short 3D film while being exposed to physical effects such as water, air blowing or rattling of the seats.

The Water Park, also known as the Wunder Water, is divided into several sections. You have the Wave Pool, the most popular attraction, especially with its throngs of waves mimicking that of the sea. The Multiplay section is a fun attraction for the kids. With a theme upon the pirate's ships, you can enjoy the unique designs, the tilting buckets of water, stairs, slides and canopied areas. Additionally, there are many Water Rides that one can enjoy here, ranging from narrow slides, to tube slides, to open slides, so take your pick. Of these, must try slides are the Funnel Slide, a long tube slide that opens into a funnel-shaped slide where you would be dropped before the landing pool, and the Crusader, a combination of open and tube slide that drops you unto a pendulum before dropping you into the landing pool. Other attractions here are the Crazy Cruise, Waterfalls, Aqua Dance and Lazy River.

What are the Facilities in Funcity in Chandigarh?

There are some food stalls inside Funcity in various areas close to the prominent attractions. You can buy your meals, snacks and beverages there as bringing of outside food inside the theme park is not allowed. There are ample changing rooms and bathrooms within the premises too for the convenience of guests. There's a first aid booth in the Water Park area where you can avail of your band aid or medicine needs. Lockers are also available for rent for guests who don't have their own vehicle and have to keep away some items. There's a photo booth as well where you can have your photographs taken, as well as special photo selfie areas where you can pose the day away. Outside the park premises is a parking area with ample spacing for hundreds of vehicles who might reach the park at the same time.

What are the Entry Fees for Funcity in Chandigarh?

The entry fees for Funcity remain the same whether it's a weekday or a weekend. For children below 3 feet in height, they are granted free entry to the theme park. For seniors aged 65 years old and above, they are also granted free entry to the theme park. For those above 3 feet and aged below 65 years old, they need to pay an entry fee with the above rates. They can choose accordingly, entry to the Amusement Park only, entry to the Water Park only or entry to both.
