Imagica Theme Park Mumbai entry fees

A group of us friends are going to Mumbai from Pune. One of the places we have long awaited to visit is Imagica Theme Park, and we heard some time ago that the entry ticket cost is quite high, we don't know how high so would like to find out what the Imagica Theme Park Mumbai entry fees are?

We are all students, so if there is a concession for please share details about that as well.

I would also like to find out the opening and closing timing of the Imagica Theme Park.

What is Adlabs Imagica in Mumbai?

Adlabs Imagica is the largest theme park in Mumbai and Pune. It was established in 2013 by Manmohan Shetty, who also owns the Adlabs Films Limited venture. Because this is a newer and more modern theme park, the infrastructures, facilities and the rides themselves are more up to international standards. The incredibly well-thought of surroundings, the mascots, the statues and the shows add to that entertainment essence of the theme park. Since its opening to the public, it has become one of the best theme parks in the country, visited not only by locals from Mumbai or Pune, or surrounding areas, but also by foreigners who want some thrill or adventure while in India.

Where is Adlabs Imagica Located in Mumbai?

Adlabs Imagica is located in the Sangdewadi in the Khopoli Pali Road. It is about 68 kilometres away from the city centre of Mumbai. It is situated midway between Mumbai and Pune, along the Mumbai Pune Expressway. If you're coming from the city, you can simply take the expressway and take a turn off the main road into Khopoli Pali Road. The nearest railway station to the theme park is the Khopoli Railway Station, which is around 10 kilometres away. There are direct trains from Thane, Dadar, Kurla and other localities to this railway station. Adlabs Imagica also provides for bus transfers from Mumbai to the theme park proper. Buses depart early morning until the middle of the morning from various pick-up points in Mumbai like Borivali, Malad, Vila Parle and more.

What is the Overall Vibe of Adlabs Imagica in Mumbai?

Spread over 300 acres of land set upon a central lake, Adlabs Imagica exudes a childish appeal. From the fairytale land with characters like Rapunzel or the evil witch, complete with a realistic three-dimensional image of a staircase into a castle, you're sure to be transported to your wildest childhood fantasies here. The mascots that roam around, from a dinosaur, en elephant, and more, truly gives that charming atmosphere as well. The rides themselves aren't just for the thrill, because even their designs are executed well, with attention to little details. Initially, Adlabs Imagica is comprised of just dry rides but recently, a wet rides section and even a snow section was added. So what is the overall vibe of Adlabs Imagica then? What are the Attractions in the Amusement Park of Adlabs Imagica?

The Amusement Park is located at the centre of Adlabs Imagica, with the Water Park and Snow Park in the back and in the front respectively. The Amusement Park can be divided into three sections, namely: Family Rides, Kids' Rides and Thrill Rides. The Family Rides section has an assortment of fun and safe rides that the whole family can enjoy. It has the usual rides like the Bump It Boats, Mambo Chai Chama (Crazy Tea Cups) and Tubby Takes Off (Merry Go Round).

Of course, there are also unusual rides that you can't miss like the Alibaba Aur Chalis Chorr, which is housed in almost Taj Mahal like setting. This is an interactive ride that lets you shoot laser lights upon supposed thieves. There are other shows too, the Prince of Dark Waters which takes you on an underwater experience, I For India which takes you a magnificent aerial view of the different sights amidst the country or Mr. India which is an 80's local film made more enjoyable by the immersive physical effects.

Themed rides like Rajasaurus River Adventure and Splash Ahoy lets you have loads of fun while being sprinkled by water. Salimgarh is a scary and thrilling ride set upon the eerie fort of the same name, found on the outskirts of Delhi. The Wrath of the Gods highlights the story of an ancient temple uncovered by archeologists who would then receive the wrath of the deities, accentuated by laser lights, water effects and more. Other rides like Save the Pirate, The Detective Bow Wow Show and Motion Box Theater are also worth trying out.

Next is the Kids' Rides section, which is comprised of a few child-friendly rides that the little ones can enjoy. The Magic Carousel is the classic ride that all kids enjoy, with its assortment of horsy rides and more. The mini ferris wheel, the Wagon O-O Wheel, gives enough thrill without being too dangerous for the kids. Humpty's Fall is a small drop ride, patterned after the famous nursery rhyme, Humpty Dumpty. The Lochness Explorer ride takes them on a wonderful lagoon-like adventure, with the friendly Lochness monster nearby. And finally, the Happy Wheels is not just enjoyable, it also teaches the little ones about the proper road rules and signs.

The last section is the Thrill Rides, which is suitable only for adults or teens, that is if they have the bravery to try any of these rides. The Nitro is perhaps the most popular ride here, which is a looping rollercoaster, at its highest is around 132 feet. Let the Scream Machine live up to its name as it swings and spins around for the most dizzying adventure you'd ever have. The Gold Rush Express is another rollercoaster ride, which is a Wild West themed coaster. Dare 2 Drop is the big drop attraction of the park while Deep Space is India's very first indoor rollercoaster ride.

What are the Dining Options in the Amusement Park of Adlabs Imagica?

From the entrance, the first restaurant you'd encounter is the Red Bonnet American Diner. This retro-style diner, complete with red sitting areas and tiled flooring, serves American cuisine meals. You can get your fill of burgers, fries, hotdogs and fried chicken here. The Arrmada is their lake-side restaurant, which serves mainly snacks such as sandwiches, muffins and rolls. It is spread across two levels, with a pirate ship appearance, with the second floor being the bar area. Across Arrmada is Roberto's Food Coaster, which is the pure vegetarian restaurant of the Amusement Park. This restaurant is suitable for complete meals as it serves delicious North Indian Thalis. Other cuisines served here are South Indian, Chinese and Italian. Other restaurants within the park are Zeze Bar & Grill and English Bakery (Pastries). For buffet, head on to The Imagica Capital, where an extensive buffet spread of various cuisines including North Indian, South Indian, Asian and Continental.

What are the Other Facilities in the Amusement Park of Adlabs Imagica?

Close to the entrance is a vast parking area which can accommodate the numerous number of guest vehicles that reach Adlabs Imagica on a daily basis. The entrance has information counters wherein guests can ask queries related to the theme park from designated personnel. There's a baggage counter here too for storage of large bags or luggages for a set fee. Stroller and wheelchair rental counters are also available in the Amusement Park. Other facilities such as lost & found, first aid, ATMs and bathrooms are also available within this area.

What are the Timings for the Amusement Park of Adlabs Imagica?

Adlabs Imagica Amusement Park remains open all-year round, regardless of the season or holiday. It opens around 10:30 in the morning but rides become operational around 11:00. The entire park, including the restaurants and other facilities, remain open until 20:00 but the rides are open only until 19:00 in the evening.

What are the Attractions in the Water Park (Aquamagica) in Adlabs Imagica?

As mentioned above, the Water Park, also known as Aquamagica, is located on the back of the theme park. The Aquamagica is divided into various sections with a variety of slides and pools that guests can enjoy. For the little ones, The Pirate Bay is a surefire hit, with its shallow water and central play area. Kids can pretend to be pirates while shooting sprinkling water with one another or hiding on the numerous holes of the play area. The falling water from the buckets and the small sides are added attractions that they can enjoy. The Floatsa is the lazy river ride of the park, where you can just go with the flow, leaving all your worries behind.

The Boomeranggo is a yellow and green steep slide with a boomerang effect at the end. Guests can be paired in a raft for two in this thrilling ride that even the kids can be a part of. The Screamer, Yell-O, Twisty Turvy and The Loopy Woopy are comprised of a series of open sections and tube sections that guests can truly test their courage in. Raftaastic and Soakerz are suitable slides for families or groups, where you can engage in a ball of fun while traversing steep drops and turns. Splash is a basic wide, open slide with a few bumps along the way that everyone in the family can enjoy. Zip Zap Zoom is another open slide, but a multi-lane one that allows for racing matches with your friends or loved ones.

The unique Swirl Whirl with its funnel-like shape is a must-try too, it oscillates the guest back and forth before shooting them into the pool of water. Wacky Wavess is the artificial waves swimming pool section where everyone, regardless of age, can have a grand time. There's a Rain Dance section too where you can groove to the latest hits along with the sprinkling of the water from the floor. For the little ones, the Zooballoo is the mini version of the rain dance where animal statues play music while splashing water to the onlookers.

Since the Aquamagica is a bit further from the Amusement Park proper, the Aqua Skyway is an added attraction here. The cable cars let you reach the Water Park from the Amusement Park or vice versa.

What are the Dining Options in the Water Park (Aquamagica) in Adlabs Imagica?

There are various dining options in Aquamagica. First is Ammos, the food court of the Water Park section, which has a variety of food stands offering dishes from the North Indian, Mexican, Asian and many more cuisines. You can enjoy both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals here, including Thalis which are already complete meals comprising of rice, dal, sabzi, dessert and more. Close to the Swirl Whirl is the Red Bonnet Express, which has the same retro vibe and cuisine as the main restaurant in the Amusement Park. Sunbeatz is located close to the Wacky Wavess and serves a variety of snacks from the Lebanese cuisine. Other dining options are The Blue Stone Cafe (Sandwiches), Salty's (Mexican Cuisine) and Cones (Snacks & Ice Cream) spread across various areas of Aquamagica.

What are the Other Facilities in the Water Park (Aquamagica) in Adlabs Imagica?

On the Water Park or Aquamagica side, along the entrance, there are various facilities that one can avail of. The tourist information kiosk, changing rooms, souvenir or costume rental shops, lockers and lost & found are all located here. Similarly, there are also facilities for wheel chair and stroller rentals in this side. Within each ride here, there's a first air counter to help guests who would need first aid procedures or equipments. There are ample restrooms spread across the various areas of the Water Park as well.

What are the Attractions in the Snow Park (Snow Imagica) in Adlabs Imagica?

The main attraction of the Snow Park is the real snowfall made from purified water that actually falls from the ceiling of the indoor park. Aside from that, there's a central Snow Castle with various snow structures inside. You can play with the almost realistic snow that can be knee-deep for smaller children. Activities like snow sliding, tobogganing, snow mountain climbing, snow hiking and even snow basketball can be enjoyed here. There's a small Snow Dance Floor where you can groove to the latest hits in subzero temperatures. The Snow Park can be an add-on for your visit to the Adlabs Imagica Amusement Park or Water Park to further complete your visit to the theme park.

What are the Dining Options in the Snow Park (Snow Imagica) in Adlabs Imagica?

There is only one restaurant located within the Snow Park, which is the SnoMagica Cafe. Cuisine served here is mainly Indian, with an assortment of hot beverages and sandwiches to compliment the subzero temperatures. You can also enjoy sipping your cup of hot chai or coffee here while viewing the almost Kashmir like vibe. However, only light meals are served in this cafe so you might need to venture outside or unto the theme park proper for fuller meals that can satisfy your stomach.

What are the Other Facilities in the Snow Park (Snow Imagica) in Adlabs Imagica?

Prior to entering the Snow Park premises, there's an information kiosk slash ticket counter. This is also where the gears, included in your entry ticket, would be given to you. These gears include snow boots, jacket, ear plugs and snow gloves. For hygiene purposes, socks would not be provided so you must bring your own. Other facilities here are lockers, changing rooms and first aid counter. Since the Snow Park is smaller, the facilities offered are also more limited.

What are the Entry Fees for the Snow Park (Snow Imagica) in Adlabs Imagica?

You can opt to visit the Snow Park by itself or instead buy for a combined ticket which includes access to the Amusement Park or Water Park. It's recommended though that you choose one destination to add with the Snow Park. So choose either the Amusement Park or the Water Park, as you can't cover both on the same day with the Snow Park.

What are the Timings for the Snow Park (Snow Imagica) in Adlabs Imagica?

Again, the Snow Park remains open all throughout the year, regardless of the season. It opens earlier at around 9:00 in the morning and closes at around 17:00 in the afternoon. There are several sessions each day with a number of guests allowed to enter the premises. Each session lasts for about 45 minutes and after which, you cannot re-enter the Snow Park.

Oh, what a good theme park you have there, it reminds me of Magic Mountain in California. The park seems to be complete from regular rides to unique rides with some rides that look challenging for the younger generation especially the water slide. I'm amused with the snow park because I have yet to experience it. I have seen snow just once in my life when we went to Beijing. However, I find the entrance fee quite expensive. I know that Disneyland and Ocean Park in Hongkong have higher entrance fees but they are already established. But being in Mumbai, I'm sure the park is always full during the peak season.
