Really depends on the property you would be staying at. It varies too much and will be best to find out from your hotel itself.

Some hotels, where I will stay don't have a SPA. Perhaps I will ask if reception can order a masseuse from the city to the room.

    Hello again!

As what has been said, full body massages in different hotels and resorts in India vary when it comes to charges. There are also different types of full body massages offered by different spas so you must ask the hotel which type of services they offer to guests. On average though, here's a breakdown of the price of different full body massage treatments offered by various spas and hotels in the country. Rates in Kolkata and Sikkim might vary but the price gap would probably be little.

Rates for Different Full Body Massages in India

    Massage TypeDescriptionAverage Price
PizhichilFull-body massage with the use of oil and heat which lasts for an hour or so, depending on the condition of the customer.Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 3,000 per session
UdwarthanamA deep tissue massage using herbal powders to stimulate the circulation of blood in the body, usually lasting for about 40 minutes or so. Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2,000 per session
KizhiA massage to relieve the bodily tensions by the means of releasing heat through the use of herbal powders, usually lasting for an hour.Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 2,700 per session
Kashaya DharaMedicated herbs would be poured all over the body and a full body massage would follow, for the treatment of skin diseases, usually an hour in duration.Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 3,500 per session
AbhyangaPouring of oil over the body followed with massage for lessening the process of ageing, lasts usually an hour.Rs. 800 to Rs. 3,000 per session
So these are the average rates for massages in India. For spas in higher end resorts and hotels, the rates can be higher. For three-star to four-star hotels, their rates might come up to these averages, but there might be slight differences. Further, you might not be able to find all these full body massage services in the spas in different hotels or resorts in Kolkata or Sikkim. These rates are also per session and sometimes, you might be able to find a hotel offering a package wherein the room is bundled with one spa service already.

In Kolkata, there are three-star and four-star hotels with spa centres. I'd list them below along with the spa's name and their contact number:
