    Hi

As some Filipino people address foreigners as dayuhan so Is there any word referring to foreigners that is used to address westerners in India? If the Indians do not refer address westerner with any such word, then, is there any word or sentence which they always use with foreigners?

Nothing serious, I am just curious to know

    Jason

Angrez is one of the most common word but the correct meaning of Angrez is English man, not foreigner.
Foreigner in hindi is videshi, Gora is used for white male and Gori is used for white female.

Most common name for foreigners is Angrez and the other most common things which you can expect 100 times a day are Hello Friend, what is your name, where are you from, what do you do?

Hindi is the official language of India and if you know basic Hindi, you will feel comfortable in majority of the places in India. As already pointed out earlier, the main words being used are :

    Gora - white male
    Gori - white female
    Videshi - foreigner
Angrez - English man (Angrezi means English)

All the above words are from Hindi. Indians say "namaste" to greet somebody.
